Very important mistake in the video, RA2-Select does NOT use the same hardware as Caseta. While it uses the same programming software and allows the use of Pico remotes, all the switchgear is common with the RadioRA2 systems (which is compatible with the RA3 system). So if one wants to upgrade from Caseta to RA2-Select, all the switches will need to be replaced. However, when upgrading from RA2-Select to RadioRA2 or RA3, only the repeater needs to be upgraded.
Another correction, there is a free lutron online training program which takes about 7 hours and then RA3 can be DIY. I’m doing it
