  1. This is what dreams look like. “Hue Rock” and “HueDJ for Spotify” apps made it reality in under 10 seconds on my android phone.

  2. Light behind bed as you installed has decorative target. The breathing function would annoy me alot.
    Breathing light looks nice in showrooms but for day to day usage makes no sense, same as RGB, but of course everybody likes different.

    You did not mention BLE Mesh with local product storage of commands.
    This way you can setup everything with BLE, then the products will communicate offline inside the Mesh.
    No gateway needed. Disadvantage no external remote acess.
